Erin Cut Off Her Finger
Erin's finger story:
It seemed like just another ordinary Wednesday when I received the call. The Dallas office needed images of the new brochure in order to post it to a materials-ordering website. I, Erin Bray, was the only person who could save my fellow U.S. citizens (and residents of certain U.S. territories) from the devastating possibility of a world without free materials.
It was all in my hands. LITERALLY.
I flew to the mailroom to package up the CDs. I grabbed the packing tape gun, and as I frantically tore the tape, I skimmed my left index finger along the jagged cutting edge – producing the grotesque flesh wound you see here.
To further illustrate how much I am willing to sacrifice to ensure that our nation has all the free pamphlets they could possibly need: I am left-handed. Heroic is a word that springs to mind as I site here reflecting on my efforts. But I hate to brag.
